GMC makes every effort to provide qualified students with the opportunity to attend college. Students may be eligible for a combination of grants, scholarships, loans, or other financial aid programs. The results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) help determine a student’s level of financial need. Students should use the school code for GMC (001571) to ensure that GMC is able to utilize those results. (When searching for Georgia Military College on the FAFSA web site, the school will be listed as the Milledgeville campus. That is the correct listing.) The FAFSA, like many other financial aid applications, must be updated every year (typically in the spring). This short training will assist with the understanding of the steps to completing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): Student Guide to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)Transfer students will be eligible for financial aid if they would have been eligible at their previous institution or if they have not been academically excluded, suspended, or dismissed at the previous institution immediately prior to enrollment at GMC. All admissions requirements must be satisfied before financial aid may be dispursed. Financial aid forms and further information may be obtained from the Financial Aid Office or by clicking here.
